Me….
I live in Brisbane. I am a mother, a midwife and a photographer.
I discovered my love for photography after the birth of my daughter, Neve Lily-Kate. Her beauty drove me to work out how to translate what I saw in front of me, into an image I could treasure forever. And so the journey began. Photography embraces all that is ME – my love of colour & beauty, my love of natural surroundings, my love of sentiment & nostalgia, my love of people & connections…my love of life. Normal, everyday interactions provide me with constant inspiration and an almost uncontrollable desire to capture this with my camera. I take my camera EVERYWHERE, as I never know when this feeling may come over me. I love babies. I adore kids. I truly do not know anything in life more beautiful.
My photography philosophy…
The focus of my photography is on the ‘real’.
I am passionate about capturing the individual character of your baby, child or family so that you instantly recognise ‘their’ expression – ‘their’ personality. Look through my photos…it is pose-free! As soon as you start connecting, I start clicking, and have a lot of trouble stopping!! If you are after truly natural, emotion-filled looks, laughs, smiles & tears… captured in a unique & beautiful way, then I am the right person for you. I love the feel of natural light. Therefore, my style of photography is suited to the outdoors: park, beach, garden, bush and home. So come prepared for a fun and exhausting family day out!
